Glenarm Forest Glens Red Squirrel Walk Thursday 16th August

Assembly Point: 6:00pm, Glenarm Forest Car Park.

This circular walk in Glenarm Forest will offer great views over the Glenarm Estate. Accompanying Glens Red Squirrel Group members, the route will take walkers through the forest, stopping at viewpoints where red squirrels may be seen and walkers will get the opportunity to learn more about red squirrel conservation in the Glens. Binoculars may be useful.

Duration: 1.5-2 Hours • Distance: 2.5-3 Miles • Surface: Forest Walk • Grade: 2 (there will be a gradual incline for the first 1.6 mile) • Footwear: Walking boots/sturdy shoes.
