Schools photography competition in the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust launched ‘The Glens through a Lens’ on Tuesday 16th December in the Braid Museum, Ballymena. The book was produced and launched to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the designation of the Antrim Coast & Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. 2008 also celebrated the launch of the Antrim Coast & Glens AONB Management Plan |

 | Friday, Jun 27 2008 Twenty years after the best of Antrim’s Coast and Glens landscape was designated a nationally important Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) the first AONB Management Plan for the area has been published. The Management Plan will help everybody with a stake in the landscape respond in ways that enhance the landscape and ensure the AONB remains an area everybody can enjoy, identify with and that continues to contribute crucially to the economy of the area. |
 | Wednesday, Apr 18 2007 A Management Plan is now being prepared for the Antrim Coast and Glens AONB. The plan is a real opportunity to highlight the importance of the area, determine what needs to be done to care for it in the future and to attract the funding that is needed to enhance what’s good and address what’s bad. |
